The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 and the Service Provision Change (Protection of Employment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006 are complex pieces of legislation which put obligations on both the Seller and the Purchaser to ensure the protection of an employee’s terms and conditions of employment following the transfer.
