The Future of Liquor Licensing

O’Reilly Stewart Solicitors were delighted to partner with AMS Chartered Accountants to present a live webinar on liquor licensing and hospitality on Tuesday 28th September 2021.

 

Christopher Bullock, Associate of O’Reilly Stewart provided a presentation dealing with incoming amendments to liquor licensing laws in Northern Ireland which will start to come into effect in October 2021.  Christopher also discussed the liquor licensing renewal process, which takes place in September 2022.

 

Adrian Patton, Director at ASM Chartered Accountants provided am informative presentation entitled “Changes, Challenges and Considerations”, discussing the possible financial impacts of the amended legislation and developments arising from the Covid-19 pandemic including staffing issues and budgeting and cash flow.

 

Following the presentations, Director Seamus McGranaghan joined an expert panel of industry figures to discuss changes and challenges in the licensing and hospitality sector in Northern Ireland.

 

This panel was led by BBC Northern Ireland Business Correspondent, Clodagh Rice and included Garvan O’Doherty from The Garvan O’Doherty Group, Petra Wolsey from Beannchor Group and Gary Quate from Tourism NI.
