Lucy joined the firm in 2021 as a Solicitor in the Healthcare department.
Lucy studied Law at Ulster University where she obtained an LLB Honours Degree in 2019. Thereafter, Lucy commenced her training as an Apprentice Solicitor at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Queens University Belfast. Whilst studying at the Institute, she developed a keen interest in clinical negligence litigation. During these studies Lucy’s aptitude and ambition were rewarded when she achieved the recognition of being one of the finalists in the Solicitor Advocacy competition. Lucy graduated from the Institute with a Distinction in Professional Legal Studies.
An appreciation of Lucy’s dedication to developing her expertise in complex clinical negligence saw her seize the opportunity to join O’Reilly Stewart Healthcare in June 2021. Lucy is very passionate and committed to clinical negligence litigation. She is undaunted by its complexities and enjoys the challenges of working in this specialised area. Although now in the early stage of her career she appreciates being part of the highly respected and extremely experienced O’Reilly Stewart Healthcare team.
Outside of the work, Lucy has a keen interest in running and is currently completing a course in British Sign Language.
