Lucy is a dedicated Solicitor who joined O’Reilly Stewart Solicitors in 2021, specialising in clinical negligence litigation within the Healthcare department.
Having earned an LLB Honours Degree in Law from Ulster University in 2019, Lucy thereafter embarked on her professional legal journey as an Apprentice Solicitor at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Queens University Belfast. In her role, Lucy handles a diverse range of cases, including Birth Injury claims, Misdiagnosis claims, General Surgery claims, Cancer claims, Fatal Accident claims and General Practice claims. Her dedication aligns seamlessly with O’Reilly Stewart Solicitors’ status as Northern Ireland’s only Band 1 ranked firm in clinical negligence, representing the victims of medical accidents and their families.
Lucy’s involvement extends beyond her casework as she is also a member of the Law Society of Northern Ireland’s Clinical Negligence Practitioner’s Group. Outside the legal realm, Lucy is an avid runner, having achieved a personal best time in the 2023 Berlin Half Marathon.
