O’Reilly Stewart Solicitors is delighted to announce title sponsorship of the eighth annual NI & Ulster Road Relay Championships 2018, organised by Orangegrove Athletics Club.
The only running event of its kind in Northern Ireland, the NI & Ulster Road Relay Championships expects to welcome upwards of 900 participants, plus many more supporters and volunteers, at Victoria Park in Belfast on Saturday 6 October for a day of racing and family entertainment.
The relay event includes Senior and Masters Races, and these athletes must be registered with an Athletics NI affiliated club to compete. There are also Junior Races, open to all abilities, from Primary age to an U17 category.
Speaking of the firm’s sponsorship, James Turner, Director at O’Reilly Stewart Solicitors said; “We are delighted to take a lead role as principal sponsor for what is proving an increasingly important and competitive fixture on the Northern Ireland’s athletics calendar.
“We enjoy supporting and taking an active role in our local community,” he added, “whether through our own charitable work or supporting best-in-class events such as these.”
Darren Houston of Orangegrove AC commented; “Having been involved with the organisation of the NI & Ulster Road Relay Championships for many years now I have seen the event flourish into the competitive event that it is today.
“O’Reilly Stewart Solicitors on board as main event sponsor gives Orangegrove AC the capability to make the NIRelays the most competitive, family friendly road race in the running calendar.”
