O’Reilly Stewart Attains New Quality Standard

24 January 2019

O’Reilly Stewart Solicitors recently celebrated our 15th year of accreditation for the internationally-recognised Lexcel and ISO 9001 quality standards. After our assessment visit in January of this year, we also became one of the first practices in Northern Ireland to be assessed against the new version 5.1 of the international Lexcel standard.

Stuart Gilmore, our Litigation Director, who is also responsible for managing risk and quality within the practice, said “Our continuing accreditation to both the Lexcel and ISO quality standards provides reassurance to our clients and colleagues that our firm acts in full compliance with the highest industry standards for our profession. We have shown a longstanding commitment to continuing to improve all aspects of our business and that has led directly to both the growth of the practice and to the acquisition of new business”.

Following a recent assessment visit Martin Rice, Law Society assessor, commented, “O’Reilly Stewart’s commitment to legal excellence extends to all areas of the firm’s activities and is driven from the top of the organisation. The firm’s culture is supportive and encouraging, whilst commercially focused, and with a thorough approach to strategic planning and business development. O’Reilly Stewart’s approach to risk management merits special mention as strategic, operational and regulatory risk are all considered and acted upon, whilst activities to comply with GDPR requirements have been particularly robust. A spirit of continuous improvement is evident across all areas of the firm.”
