I recently concluded a serious personal injury claim involving catastrophic injuries for a 50 year old man, Mr CV. My client was a motorcyclist who sustained serious injuries due to an accident caused by the negligence of a car driver who had pulled out of a junction without giving way to his motorcycle. Liability was conceded by the Defendant’s insurer and medical evidence had to be obtained from several different specialist consultants.
This compensation claim incorporated the cost of alternative care and gratuitous care provided by the claimant’s family, together with a sum for his past and future loss of earnings, as well as damages for personal injury and was resolved with an award of several hundred thousand pounds being paid to my client.
