Many of those patients affected by what has been described as \u2018the biggest scandal in NHS history\u2019 are from Northern Ireland. Recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-northern-ireland-48307521\">media stories<\/a> have highlighted the struggles of some NI based patients as a result of contaminated blood products being given to them. It is likely that there are more patients who have been affected who have yet to come forward.
